“ We booked a table on the recommendation of a friend who lives in the city. We all enjoyed the food choices and ordered some dishes to share Good service from a friendly team of front of house staff. Nicely presented dishes and everything an arrived in a timely order allowing us to try each dish before the next one arrived. Highly recommended ”
“ Absolutely stunning food at Bacaro in Liverpool! They were highly recommended from a friend who is from Liverpool and we just had to make a reservation! We had the lunch menu and everything was delicious! Some food highlights: The casarecce pasta with peas, lemon & thyme butter and pecorino was sensational, buttery and lemony! Just perfect The pepperoni, nduja, mozzarella and chilli honey pizzette had just the right kick of heat to it and with soft and fluffy dough. The buttermilk chicken Milanese with parmesan dressing, rocket and balsamic was perfectly crispy, loaded with parmesan and the dressing was delicious! Overall, VERY tasty food, friendly and attentive staff members and it was nice and busy which is always a good sign! Keep it up! ”
“ Quite a bog standard Italian. We also really didn’t appreciate the food coming out at random times. They bulk make peoples orders so everyone who’s ordered chicken will all get it at the same time. It meant we were left waiting for food when we had finished everything and tables coming in way after us were served before us. We also asked for mayonnaise, we’re told it was garlic mayo and then given garlic and tarragon mayo which was so heavy on the tarragon it was gross. I hate tarragon and wish this was mentioned. On top of that they then charged us for the mayo! Unfortunately I think Italian is all about the ingredients and we just didn’t enjoy a lot of the food that much. The burrata salad had capers on which wasn’t stated on the menu, cherry tomatoes not heritage and a cheap tasting olive oil. The potato pizzetta was the star of the show, it was so good and delicious. The foccacia was homemade and lovely and warm and the chips were delicious. Unfortunately the fennel sausage and nduja ragu was really weird with no nduja and the chorizo sausages were boring. Overall not the best meal and not exactly cheap either. ”

The food was flawless (special shout-out for the beef lasagne!!), as well as the staff being so friendly with the best service (Chelsea was great!). Couldn’t recommend enough! Also a big thank you for the complimentary Prosecco and hand written card for our anniversary, it’s the little touches. Will be back! ”
“ Excellent Italian tapas in a buzzing environment. Small plates explained with a suggestion of what to expect size wise. Only disappointment is we were too full to order further. I don’t usually like belly pork but this was cooked to perfection, as was everything else. Loved everything about the dining experience. ”
“ What a place! The food was divine. The place is very ambient and perfect for a dinner date. The sea bass was excellent, my favourite from everything we tried. The goat cheese crostini was also amazing. Will definitely be coming back! ”

“ The bill for 3 people for 3 lunch menu tapas plus drinks came to £73.25. The food was OK, nothing special. However, looking at the bill we thought it was a bit cheeky of the restaurant to charge you a charitable donation with no information on what the charity was. Also they charge you for tomato sauce and mayo. For what it is, we thought Bacaro was just a tad expensive and probably won't go back. ”
